The Tribal Government of the Santa Rosa Band of Cahuilla Indians is determined and upheld by the Tribe's Governing Document. The General Council, comprised of Tribal Members 18 years of age and older, serves as the governing body of the Tribe. The General Council elects a Tribal Council for a two-year term which functions on an administrative capacity on behalf of the Tribe to ensure that the actions of the General Council are fully and faithfully executed.
Meetings of the General Council are held every other month. Tribal Council meetings are held every second and fourth Friday of each month, with the exception of holidays.
